Google Talk
They say talk is cheap. Google thinks it should be free. Google Talk enables you to call or send instant messages to your friends for free–anytime, anywhere in the world.
By now I'm sure you've all heard about Google's new IM/VOIP client called Google Talk. I'm trying it out myself right now. Initial impressions are possitive, as it seems to have focused on doing basic IM and doing it well without cluttering the interface with a bunch of less-than-useful features like games. Probably not yet robust enough to dethrone AIM, MSN Messenger, or Yahoo! Chat, but as with all things Google, I'm sure I'll be swearing by it in a few weeks.
