My New Background - Mimas, Rings, and Shadows
The Astronomy Picture of the Day for December 4, 2004 is Mimas, Rings, and Shadows and has (temporarily) replaced by old background, the default Mac OS X image.
MediaPortal - The ultimate HTPC / mediacenter
MediaPortal is an open source Windows Media Center wanna-be. At this time, it's just in 0.1.0.0 release, but already seems to be fairly feature-full. Should be very interesting to see how this project progresses over time if HTPC becomes more prevelant (altough I doubt it will... who wants Windows to run their TV?!)
